The history of MoonshineRiders

With the arrival of COVID-19 in 2020 and following the  death of my son, Jonatan Savoy, at the age of 18 (Youtube video link), I decided to contact a friend of Eastman, Simon Ouellet, to try out for a little video shoot with his General Lee and take my mind off it. same time.

After a few meetings and shootings, several friends joined us to live a great experience and share their passion for muscular and antique cars.

The group growing from week to week, I decided to produce the music videoBlinding Lights (Youtube link) which was a hit on the internet.

We were able to make a professional quality video for $0 and it's pure pleasure.

Since this event and thanks to the growing pleasure for the project, several new members and partners have been added to produce a series of mini short films during the summer of 2021. Now, this whole group forms a large family of enthusiasts from all over in Quebec.

Everyone involved (security, actors, extras, vehicles, video and audio recordings, music, editing, etc.) did so voluntarily and the characters are played by amateur actors.

"I can tell you that we regularly stepped out of our comfort zones while filming this miniseries, that we had black fun doing it and that it gave rise to several comical situations", mentions Sylvain Dubreuil._cc781905-5cde-3194- bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

The team is currently producing a 6-episode web series that will be broadcast on social media and my YouTube channel.

The diversity of our team is one of our greatest sources of pride. Its members are very competent and very passionate when it comes to using their talent and experience to contribute to our success.

For my part, I have been in the field of audio-video production since a very young age and I have developed an ease in playing with images and it is with pleasure that I invest a lot of my time and that I fueled by the pleasure that everyone shares in this project. And it's only just begun!

Michel Jr Savoy, Producer and director.
